OK, so what goes on in a typical recording week?
We thought it would be interesting to show you a typical schedule,
this was for four tracks from the new album...

Saturday/Sunday
Setup studio including drums, bass, amps, keyboards, acoustic piano, all mics etc.
This involves setting up equipment in multiple sound isolated rooms.
Charting session with lead session player and final lyric tweaks.

Monday
(
Nashville sessions are split into blocks of 3 hours)

Basic tracks for "The Usual Joe" and "It's Never Too Late"
2:00PM-5PM
Basic tracks for "I Believe In Angels" and "Nobody's Fool"
6PM-9PM
Scratch vocals for all four songs
Jamey Garner on harmonica ("Nobody's Fool")

Tuesday
2:00PM-5PM
Electric guitar overdubs and solos
6:00PM
Brit lead vocals for "The Usual Joe" and "I Believe In Angels"

Wednesday
10:00AM-12AM
Vocal comps

Fiddle overdubs

Steel overdubs
